The Overlook Woven Raglan is perfect for exploring new travel destinations or in your own backyard! It is a woven raglan with a relaxed fit. The sleeves have a darted shoulder for a great shape. The neckline is finished with a woven bias neckband with or without a placket opening. There are options for a shorter boxy hem or shaped hip length silhouette. The short sleeves can be finished with a cuff or hem.
Unisex for sizes newborn to 14 years.

Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as challis, viscose, muslin, linen/linen blends, chambray, lawn, voile, poplin, shirting, cotton/cotton blends, seersucker, double gauze, etc. More fluid fabrics are recommended.

I am an experienced sewist, I am able to deal with difficult patterns. I make 17 Christmas pjs each year and I use woven fabric. I wanted a pattern that had raglan sleeves and this one seemed perfect. However the sizing instruction on this pattern is wildly off. First she says the top is based on the chest size then she suggests finding a well fitting shirt from the child's wardrobe and measuring it against the finished garment sizes provided in the instructions besides the customary age sizes. I created three samples based on one of my granddaughters measurements and a shirt that fit well. She is 8 years old. The largest of this patterned I used for her was a size 12. It would not fit her and just barely fit her 4 year old sister. The sizing is horrible and impractical. Cost way too much for this.
