The Skiff Dress is an expansion of the Skiff Tee; a fun nod to the seaman’s Breton sweaters of France. The basic shape is a wide bateau neckline and a-line silhouette with straight vented or curved dolphin hems. The back hem is slightly longer than the front. Use the color blocked styles to play with stripes, patterns or even sheer knits across the bodice and/or short or long sleeves from the tee pattern. This expansion also includes options for a sleeveless version, a horizontal flounce across the color blocked sections of the bodice and sleeve, and an elasticated waistband.

This pattern is offered as an expansion of the Skiff Tee pattern, and does not include the sleeves from the tee. A sleeveless dress can be made using this pattern alone, or purchase the Skiff Tee or Skiff Bundle.

Girls’ sizes newborn through 12 years.
